It's his birthday today, so I thought, hey, why not make a thread about him.

On April 8, 1994, Cobain was found dead at his home in Seattle, the victim of what was officially ruled a suicide by a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the head. The circumstances of his death have become a topic of public fascination and debate. Since their debut, Nirvana, with Cobain as a songwriter, has sold over 25 million albums in the US alone, and over 50 million worldwide

Unfortunately, he died before my birth, but my father would always play some Nirvana every now and then. I have to thank him for that, because if that didnt happen, I would've never decided to look up the band and everything. Even though he didnt impact me directly, with his wonderful and inspiring quotes and his fantastic music, he definitely made an indirect impact on me and my life.
