Introduction: The nostalgia is killing me... this album was all I listened to during my early teenage years, I missed it... so I revisited it. It's still as powerful as it was back then. However there are some flaws that need to be noted. Let's dive into a track by track review.

Song Titles:

No.TitleLength
1."Foreword" 0:13
2."Don't Stay" 3:07
3."Somewhere I Belong" 3:33
4."Lying From You" 2:55
5."Hit the Floor" 2:44
6."Easier to Run" 3:24
7."Faint" 2:42
8."Figure.09" 3:17
9."Breaking the Habit" 3:16
10."From the Inside" 2:53
11."Nobody's Listening" 2:58
12."Session" 2:23
13."Numb" 3:05

Track 1: Foreward:
Just a small introduction.
Track Rating: N/A

Track 2: Don't Stay:
The album begins right away with a heavy hitter. Listen to this song if you feel like someone or something is controlling you. You will probably feel so relieved. The instruments are pretty cool. This is a great song to channel out anger.
Track Rating: 8.7/10 (Very Good)

Track 3: Somewhere I Belong:
One of my favorites on the album, i'm sure quite a number of you have probably heard it before as it got quite a bit of radio airtime from what I heard. This is one of the most meaningful songs on the album, you can feel like when he is singing, he is truly singing from the heart and from experience, and not just some scenario created by the media companies in charge of the band's management. Congratulations, you created one of a group of extremely nostalgic songs from my early teenage / late childhood years.
Track Rating: 9.2/10 (Amazing)

Track 4: Lying From You:
Not one of the best on the album, it has a good beat, good guitars and the scratch type intro is pretty cool, however I don't think it stands up to the rest of the tracks on the album. Not as recommended.
Track Rating: 6.4/10 (Above Average)

Track 5: Hit The Floor:
One of the hardest tracks of on the album. The meaning behind this song is what stands out the most. This is another song you should listen to if you're pissed off at someone. Great headbanging song, the balance of rap and screams is very nice. Although i'm not a fan of rap, I feel the meaning behind it balances it out.
Track Rating: 7.3/10 (Good)

Track 6: Easier To Run:
An interesting song, while i'm not a fan of its lyrical message, it has a nice relaxing feel behind it. However, this song, like lying from you, isn't up to par with the rest of the album. I am divided between recommending and not recommending it, as it is a rather unimpressive track.
Track Rating: 7.0/10 (Good)

Track 7: Faint:
Faint, interesting name, interesting message. However, the instruments are what make this song stand out. The vocals are also pretty good in this song coming from both vocalists. The guitars are some of the best on the album and make your blood pump. The addition of the extra strings were a nice touch as well. A pretty good song, recommended.
Track Rating: 7.6/10 (Good)

Track 8: Figure.09:
The chorus is lacking in this song... However, the instruments were some of the best on the album, and mental breakdown and vocal match off between the two vocalists was definitely welcome, it saved this song from being another average song. However, it didn't save the whole song.
Track Rating: 6.6/10 (Above Average)

Track 9: Breaking The Habit:
A great song... Again, they brought in additional strings for this song, most definitely a welcome addition. The vocals stood out to me as the most impressive on this song, it seemed like he had a lot of emotion put into this song, more than a lot of the others on the album. But even with his impressive vocals, I still couldn't get over the extra strings added in this song, they were absolutely amazing. This song had a lot of radio air time, however when looking into it deeper, it becomes apparent that it is one of the most well crafted songs on the album. Along with this, it is my third favorite on the album.
Track Rating: 9.0/10 (Amazing)

Track 10: From The Inside:
Not a lot of people have heard about this song that much... but it's my favorite on the album. Mainly because of the emotion coming from it. This song... I have a long history with this song, and have listened to it for about 6 or 7 years, for me, it never gets old. Everything is in harmony in this song. My top recommended song on the album.
Track Rating: 9.5/10 (Absolutely Amazing)

Track 11: Nobody's Listening:
The Shakuhachi Flute addition to this song is definitely an interesting addition. While this song is mainly rap and i'm not a fan of rap, the synced the beats with chugging guitar and the flute, making it an interesting bucket of a song. I'm mixed about this song, but if you are a fan of music mixes, check this song out.
Track Rating: 7.8/10 (Very Good)

Track 12: Session:
A monotone instrumental of beats with drums, the drums being the highlight of the song, not particularly impressed.
Track Rating: 6.2/10 (Above Average)

Track 13: Numb:
Top of the radio song, this song is essentially Linkin Park's most popular song, but that doesn't mean it's their best, in fact, I think it's rather average... especially the vocals, they could have done way better on this song.
Track Rating: 6.4/10 (Above Average)

Overall Album Rating:
7.64 (Good)

Final Words:
Nostalgic is all that I have to say about this album. Musically it isn't one of the greatest albums in existence, but it's on my top 10 albums list for one reason and one reason only. Emotion, great vocals, harmony, and emotion...
