Why was I not good for her?
Our life together snuffed out in a quick blur
That peaceful lonely morning the day after it was done
Felt so empty without the warmth of her love
Trudging along the daily rush not stopping to examine what was new
His entire persona had been changed to a shade of dark blue
Too focused on the rigid past of his life
The end of their pact carved down with a knife
