| Obama has done a lot more, or a least tried to, than many of the previous presidents. Congress has stood in the way of good ideas more than once.
Want to know a fun fact? While Lincoln was alive, not only the south hated him, the north did too! How is that relevant? Now we look back on him as one of the greatest presidents of all time, and I have a feeling a hundred years from now Obama will be looked back upon in a similar way.

I can't take you seriously when you compare Abraham Lincoln, who freed the slaves to Obama, who got a fucking nobel peace prize for something that was ridiculous and pure shit.

Osama Bin Laden was killed under Obama, the slaves were freed under Lincoln. You can argue both had the possibility to have happened under different presidents, but they didn't. I could probably make a better counter argument if I wasn't so damn tired.

| You can't compare Lincoln's freeing the slaves to Obama and the death of Osama
Lincoln freed the slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation which he wrote.
Obama did nothing but sign a document to give the Navy SEAL team permission to execute a plan that was already established to find and kill Osama.
Lincoln was directly responsible for freeing slaves. Obama was VERY indirectly responsible for the assassination of Osama.

| I admit it was a bad counter argument. I was tired and not thinking straight. I should have posted: - ZXoftheDarkness wrote:

Why are you bringing up freeing the slaves and that nobel prize? I was merely comparing the fact that they've both done good things, or tried to do good things, and were hated during their time. That's all. Once again, sorry for my completely shit original reply.

Once again, sorry for my completely shit original reply. It's no prob, everyone has tired days. But I'm bringing it up because Obama has not done anything that he will be remembered for, sure everyone will remember him, but due to the unfortunate racism in this country, he will be only remembered as the first black president. @Flyyyyy: Couldn't have said it better myself

@Flyyyyy: Couldn't have said it better myself Bush was the president under which the intel was gained to kill Bin Laden. Get your facts straight before you start your arguments. Also, while you think the Patriot Act was this HORRIBLE thing, it allowed the government to avert another plane attack on the US Bank building in Downtown LA, that could have killed thousands of Americans. Also, on another note, the economy thrived under Bush until his last two years in office. What happened in those last two years? Lets take a look shall we. Bush had a Republican Congress. Taxes were low. Things got done. But in his last two years, the Democrats took over the Congress, and Cockblocked him from getting anything done. That's why Obama was elected. He was able to say oh look at the horrible things Bush did, when in reality, it was the Democratic Congress, going off of feeling rather than studied fact. Also, tax cuts for the rich help the whole economy, because last time i checked, a poor man never gave anyone a stable job. Argument over.
