Minecraft Tekkit server

So i've set the server up, i just need to get my other computer up and running so i can use my current one while it's running. Post in here if you wanna play on it. I'm not putting a whitelist on it, so i'll PM you the IP if you wanna try it.

in order to play on it, you need to use the launcher. on the left select Tekkit, and in the options (next to where you type your password) make sure it's set to 2.1.0 | 1.1

also fly, i dunno which one to click. tell us. also, i think it will be a few days before it goes up, since my other computer needs a new power supply.

click "add new hostname"
pick a url (mine is Flyyyyy.dyndns.org)
check "Host with IP address"
type in your minecraft server IP
submit

Well I'll be joining you guys when I get Minecraft on the 360 because I decided I don't want to rip off Mojang and why not just use hamachi or something? Or are those unreliable?

as i said, using hamachi would make it more trouble for the people who have bought the game, and it would be silly punishing someone for doing the right thing. also, you won't be able to come on this server with the 360 version. 360 games are coded in C++ and Minecraft is coded in Java, so they're completely different. and don't get minecraft on 360, you won't be able to get any mods.

EDIT: also fly, when i try to set it up, it says i have to put in credit crad and shit, even though it costs nothing

i can get this server up at anytime, so if you guys are real keen on playing, then let me know. it's just that i just got some game credit in wow, so i'll be playing that until tuesday.

I've been playing Minecraft for a while now, and I've been looking for a change, but not a change away from MC. I've been playing Tekkit singleplayer for a little while but I'm still a noob at it. Still, I'd enjoy learning further from others on an Aussie server.

SHIT! i need to clear the hardrive on my computer. it's only allowing 1GB of RAM of be used and it has 4. give me 2 days.

it doesn't look like it to be honest. my dad won't let me clear the hardrive for some really weird unknown reason. if it does happen eventually, it will just be because i buy the RAM myself. i'm gonna try and run minecraft on really low settings and see if the server runs.
